Long Time Motown record executive, producer and singer Harvey Fuqua Doo Wop died in Detroit on July 60-80 years. Fuqua began his career after the formation of the Moonglows in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, in 1951. In 1958, he reformed the group with singer Marvin Gaye, before moving to Detroit and the creation of two independent labels, Harvey and Tri-Phi. The labels were eventually purchased by Motown Records and Motown artists Fuqua controlled development, helping to start a solo career, Gaye. In the 80 years of helping individual record Fuqua Gaye classic "Sexual Healing" and as "consultants" credited production Gaye's 1982 album Midnight Love. In 2000 he was inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, reunited with the rest of the Moonglows. [] Billboard.com
The Recording Academy has changed the rules of the Grammy Award category Best New Artist. Indie-Pop-Art Ensemble of Montreal, has toured the dates of the band announced with R & B singer Janelle Monae.
